Tuesday night wings. 10 wings for £2. What could be better!

The wings are good albeit quite small but for the price well worth it. The classic buffalo sauce was by far the best although the teriyaki and siracha were also tasty.  We also had fried dill pickles, mozzarella sticks and the seasoned fries. Thumbs up for the dill pickles although again quite small. Mozzarella stick were nothing special but the fries were great.

I would definitely come back. The service was very good, with quick and friendly staff. The decor is nothing special and probably a place to take your mates or girlfriend but not a first date.

I wish the wings were a bit meatier/bigger and. That they had the little drums and / or flats wings and would be happy to pay more if they did. But for 2 beers and a load of decent food for £24.50 it is a winner every time. They also have loads of tv's and play all sorts of sports.

NYC Bar isn't generally somewhere I would choose to go, but on Tuesdays they have the most wondrous deal of 10 delicious chicken wings for £2! TWO POUNDS.
Myself and the bf have taken advantage of this deal a couple of times and the chicken wings are indeed very tasty, we do also keep meaning to try their other food but haven't done it as yet - minus the stealth fries which were a bit of a letdown to be honest.

However, besides a Tuesday, I can't really see myself going to NYC Bar. I don't really like the atmosphere and the tabletops etc. are usually a bit sticky. It's just not a very nice place to sit and have a drink or whatever when there are so many other, better places in Glasgow - especially since there are so many nearby.

There's usually some sort of sport on so obviously if that's your thing then you'll love it, unfortunately it isn't mine and I'm not generally massively keen on sports-bar-type places.

I don't really have much else to say about NYC Bar, other than Chicken Wing Tuesday is definitely worth trying if you like wings!

Do Chicken Wing Tuesday! Whatever you do with your life, make sure it includes Chicken Wing Tuesday!

£2 for 10 wings, in a range of sauces, from hot'n'fruity, to smokey'n'spicy. My personal favourites are the Buffalo (Hot and Mild) and the Tequila Lime. Combine a few of these with the Stealth Fries (chips, cheese, bacon and fried onion) with a wee pint of Blue Moon and you're in for a stellar dining experience.

We were in for a leaving do.  Some eat some didn't everyone had some sort of drinks.  To be honest there was nothing special however nothing stand out either. The food was alright but not great prices again were city centre average.  They have fallen into the trap of needing to have a few craft beers in the fridge but they couldn't tell you anything about any of them.  Beer prices were the high side of average.
Staff were nice but didn't seem to go above and beyond.  My only gripes were the cleanliness of the toilets that have the haven't quite been deep cleaned new your subway toilet smell and the general maintenance of the interior which had some bits of the floor coming up.
All in all a nice place but nothing special.  I would go back if something was going on but wouldn't make it a priory to visit with friends.

I popped here on Sunday afternoon with the lovely Eilidh G. We decided to take a chicken wing break and ordered wings with garlic & herb, mozzarella dippers as well as a couple of cokes between us.

This place is pretty casual - almost like a sports bar. They were showing ice hockey so maybe that's what gave it that vibe. Staff were really friendly although at one stage someone came over to our table and I didn't actually realise they worked there.

We got our drinks and we both commented that they tasted funny. It was either the straws, the glass or the postmix. Either way, it wasn't great and a bit unpleasant. The food arrived quickly and I'd put it firmly in the "good" area - it wasn't delicious, but it wasn't terrible. The mozzarella dippers were nicer than the wings which were just a little bland even though they were smothered in sauce.

I'd definitely come back here as it was a pretty comfortable bar, and it had a welcoming vibe. I'd just order differently next time.
